Second photo by Mr. OUDEJANS, taken 3 to 5 minutes after the first shot (probably around 7:15 a.m.). Investigation by the Dutch UFO group NOBOVO showed that the ring was caused by an atomic bomb simulation that took place at the nearby military basis of Leusderheide.
According to a military spokesman, the bomb demonstration was executed by detonating a barrel of oil, mixed with kerosene and explosives.
