Convincing flying saucer photos are easily faked by tossing a flat round object in the air and pressing the shutter release button at the right time.The inclined position is typical of hand-thrown models. The dark bottom indicates that the object is close to the ground, reflecting little or no light from the sky. The model used for this shot was an aluminium camping plate.
