commemorating lights
Rotterdam, The Netherlands - Between 10:45 p.m. and 02:00 a.m. on May 14-15, 2007, over one hundred 7000 Watt spotlights projected this nearly 12 km wide lasso-shaped ring onto the clouds. The "ring of light" marked the area of the city that was destroyed by German bombs on May 14, 1940.
